Walls' Latin-American Mission

Training Pastors in the Context of the Church in Latin America.

Hold the Rope

The work that God is doing in Latin America is too big for just us! We must partner with other like-minded congregations and individuals who want to see the Word of God proclaimed and the Kingdom of God advanced in Latin America.

We have been amazed to see God’s hand of provision for our ministry over the years. In His providence, He has provided for our students through the first two rounds of the Pastor School, and He has also provided for them in their areas of ministry afterwards. He has also worked in amazing ways to help us secure permanent residence visas here in Ecuador. Since the start of our ministry in Ecuador in 2015 the Lord has been so faithful to provide for our needs, and we know that He works in and through His people to make this possible. So, we want to encourage you to partner with us so you too can be a part of the work that God is doing in Latin America. There are many ways you and your church can get involved

1. Commit to Pray

Prayer is the number one need we have. We firmly believe that God hears and answers the prayers of His people. It is in answer to prayer that God opens doors for the spread of the gospel, works in the souls of His people, and provides for their needs. Please subscribe to our updates so you can see our most recent prayer needs.

If you’d like to pray more specifically for the students and their families, please fill out the form below and request a pamphlet that includes personal information and pictures of our students so that you can pray for them regularly in your family worship, Sunday school classes, or prayer meetings.

2. Commit to Support

An important way you can be involved in the work here is through your financial support. Please consider a one-time gift or commit to support monthly so that we can continue the work of serving the local church in Ecuador and training men for ministry. Here are some of the key ways in which your financial support will be invested into the advance of God’s kingdom in Ecuador:

  1. The most urgent need we have right now is for the purchase of a new property and the construction of student housing. We purchased the property in 2023, but we are still in need of partners to help finish the construction plans. This is an important step for our ministry longterm that will help to reduce the cost per student as well as optimize the efficiency of our program.
  2. An on-going financial need is for support for the students of the Pastor School. As students live with us for three years, the churches who partner with us help to provide the temporal needs of our students so they can dedicate themselves fully to their studies and the service in the local church or its church plants. Though each student’s offering is determined based on personal need, we hope to support each student with around $750 per month.
  3. We also need churches to partner with us for the ongoing needs of the ministry. This includes travel expenses as we have opportunities to minister in other places, purchase of books and resources for students, and being able to receive other professors to provide modular courses for our students. For this we need about $500/month.

Tax deductible offerings can be sent to Grace Bible Church (P.O. Box 1586, Conway, AR 72033)—our sponsoring church—with “Latin American Missions” on the memo line. You can also give a one-time or recurring offering online by clicking on this link and selecting “Missions – Latin America” from the drop down box. You can also click this link to give through PayPal.

If you would like to give personally to Taylor and his family, you can do so through this PayPal link. And, if you would like to support Zak King personally, please go to this link.

3. Stay Connected

We want your church to be involved in the work here as well. We want you to not only hold the rope financially, but also to be involved by staying up to date and praying for us in your times of private and congregational prayer. If your church is interested in knowing more how to support and be involved, please contact us. If you want to stay up to date on what is going on and ways to pray for us, please subscribe to our newsletter or see the blog section of the website for recent posts. You can also join a WhatsApp group dedicated to smaller, more regular updates.
